Hiking is without a doubt the best way to discover the national park of Mount Orford. It is the perfect opportunity to access numerous viewpoints that are said to be among the most spectacular in the Eastern Townships. Around the two beaches, several activities are scheduled for the pleasure of vacationers. In the fall, the trees offer a colorful show to hikers. In winter, the park becomes a must for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts.

Thanks to the three species of lavender in their fields, Bleu Lavande has three flowering periods: July, August and September. The peak of the bloom is in July (usually around mid-July depending on weather conditions).

St-Benoit-du-Lac-Abbey

Located about 20 minutes from our spa, St-Benoit-du-Lac Abbey was founded in 1912 and has about 40 monks. Take the Chemin des Pères and enjoy the scenery all the way to your destination. Tourists visit the site, have a picnic, attend mass or even go on a retreat, walk through the orchards or taste their famous cheeses.

O'Chevreuil is a rustic atmosphere in which you are invited to a complete sensory experience. O'Chevreuil also offers an elaborate selection of bourbons, a wide range of privately imported wines, and cocktails created for you by a chef mixologist.

Le Vertendre

Le Vertendre is located on the backside of Mount Orford and offers Zoobox huts and ecological and contemporary cottages for rent. The Vertendre domain has two lakes and more than ten kilometers of streams and waterfalls, where it is possible to swim, canoe, kayak and paddleboard. ‘La Source’ lake is even transformed into an ice rink during the winter season.
